Answers to your frequently asked questions about our products.

• Are your socks Australian made?

  Yes, Stockpile only manufactures within Australia and is proudly 100% Australian owned.

• Can I wash them without shrinking?

  Yes, all socks contain machine washable yarn suitable for machine washing.

• Can the socks be tumbled dried?

  Yes, our socks can be tumbled dried using a moderate (warm) setting.

• Do you ship internationally?

  Yes we can ship internationally, but you will need to contact us in order to get a shipping quote and place your order. Please contact us, providing your full shipping address with details of the items you wish to order. We will then advise you of the shipping cost. If you wish to go ahead we will then send you a link to pay via credit card.

• Do you ship outside of Australia?

  Yes, we simply advise the freight cost and method of delivery applicable to the destination and add the cost to the overall purchase price.

• How do you handle credit card information?

  All credit card details are securely transmitted to our payment provider, Pin Payments. We do not store any card details on the server, they are transmitted directly to Pin Payments solely for the purposes of processing a single transaction.  All pages on the site are encrypted ensuring all data transmitted is secure.

• How soon will my order arrive?

  In normal circumstances, orders are despatched within three business days of order received.  Our deliveries via Australia Post are usually prompt, however, for all orders please allow up to four (4) business days to Victorian destinations and ten (10) business days to other states (particularly Western Australia and Far North Queensland).  PLEASE NOTE:  NO ORDERS ARE DESPATCHED DURING THE PERIOD BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND MID-JANUARY.

• I’m not sure what size I am in Australian shoe sizes?

  We have an international shoe size conversion chart to help find your ideal size.

• Tell me about the Stockpile boot styles?

  All Stockpile boot styles are knitted to provide a full-terry finish (sandwich terry) providing extra comfort to the wearer and the ability to bounce back after washing, with the same comfort and feel every time.  The sandwich terry knit provides a cushion feel with each loop providing a small spring of extra comfort for those long days on the wearer's feet.

• What currency are orders billed in?

  All our prices are displayed and billed in Australian Dollars. 

• What is the difference between the Stockpile boot styles?

  We manufacture three boot styles:

  • Outback
  • SpinFX
  • Terrain

  The Stockpile Outback style is our original and best selling style, consisting of 85% Wool plus cotton, nylon and elastane.  

  Our SpinFX and Terrain styles are both modelled on the original style, with the SpinFX consisting of a non-restrictive top for greater circulation, the Terrain has an increased cotton exterior for harder wear and non-pilling appearance, giving the sock a marle (fleck) appearance.

• What payment methods do you accept?

  We accept Visa and Mastercard via our online store. We can also accept cheque and bank transfers, but you will need to contact us directly to place these orders.

• Where are you based?

  We are based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, with all orders manufactured in and shipped from Melbourne, Victoria.
