The legend of Stockpile socks began in 1991, when the directors of Stockpile pledged to provide a regular supply of high quality woollen socks to the Australian and international market place.

The inspiration was their close connection with the Australian wool industry and a passion to create new markets for the vast amounts of all-natural, quality Australian Merino Wool that is grown on farms each year.
